Definition - SME

Defined according to annual sales turnover for manufacturing ( including agro-based) and manufacturing-related services in the SME :-

A micro company is defined as having annual sales of less than RM 250,000.

A small SME, sales should be between RM250,000 and less than RM10 million

A medium SME betwen RM10 million and RM25 million.

For primary agriculture sector definition as follows:

A micro SME's annual sales turnover is less than RM200,000

A small SME between RM200,000 and less than RM1 million

A medium company RM 1 million to RM5 million.
